STOOM is a series of loudspeakers designed by AudioLai, born from a fascination with industrial design and the language of brutalist architecture.
Rather than concealing its technical nature, STOOM openly embraces it. The horn, the cabinet and the acoustic architecture become integral parts of the project, transforming function and mechanics into expressive elements.
The result is an object that feels closer to an architectural presence than to a traditional hi-fi loudspeaker. Stainless steel, honest materials, structural proportions and deliberately exposed acoustic geometries define a strong, sincere and intentionally brutal aesthetic, where every element openly reveals its function.
Yet behind this sculptural presence lies a precise purpose: music reproduction. Horn loading, controlled directivity and active DSP architecture enable a presentation that is precise, dynamic and emotionally engaging, preserving energy, coherence and spatial definition.
